About VELOFITZONE

VELOFITZONE is a small independent publisher of fitness calculators and plain-language explanations. We exist because most calorie tools give you a confident number with no idea where it came from.

What we publish

Seven calculators — BMI, BMR, TDEE, calorie target, calorie deficit, macros and an all-in-one dashboard — plus reviewed guides that explain the reasoning behind each number. All seven run on one shared calculation module, so the same inputs always produce the same result no matter which page you use.

Our editorial rules

  • Every medically relevant claim names its source, publisher and year.
  • Every calculator publishes its formula, its assumptions and its limitations on the page.
  • Every result includes the range of uncertainty around it.
  • No result is ever gated behind an email address, account, survey or payment.
  • No page promises a guaranteed weight, body composition or health outcome.

How reviewing works

Guides are written and fact-checked before publication, with equations, health wording, and cited sources reviewed for accuracy and clarity. Pages carry a review date and are re-checked at least annually, and immediately whenever a primary source or public-health guideline changes.

How the site is funded

Advertising and, in future, optional paid guides. Adverts are never placed inside a form, never between the calculate button and your result, and never as a full-screen interstitial. Space for them is reserved in the layout so your result never jumps as the page loads. Any product we mention has to match the goal you selected, and it appears after your result, never in place of it.

Privacy in one paragraph

Calculator inputs are processed locally in your browser and are not stored or transmitted to our servers. There are no accounts, no saved profiles and no database of results. Optional analytics count anonymous actions such as “calculator completed”; your age, sex, height, weight, BMI, calorie target and macros are never included. Read the privacy policy.
